Homeline Homeline

What is Homeline?

Homeline is a letting scheme that lets you choose where you would like to live. Homes that are available are advertised every week and you can look for your own home using this website or property freesheet.

We advertise council homes and some homes owned by housing associations and private landlords. You can let us know what homes you are interested in by bidding for them. Homeline gives you a better idea of what homes are available in the areas you want to live in.

The Homeline Scheme has five steps for you to follow:

Step One – Membership
You are already a member of the Homeline scheme if you are a council tenant who is on the ‘transfer list’ or if you are on the Council’s Housing Register.

To register over the telephone please ring Stoke on Call on 01782 232126,
or click here to download a copy of our housing application form.

Step Two – Registration
Once you have applied and been accepted onto the Housing Register we will let you know your own personal reference number, the band you have been placed into and the priority date that you have been given.

Step Three – Choosing
Available homes are advertised on the Homeline website and freesheet every Tuesday, you must place your bids by midnight on the following Sunday.

Step Four – The Offer
If your bid is at the top of the list we will contact you and arrange for you to see the home. If the home is subject to a multiple viewing the top three customers will be contacted.

Step Five – Feedback
We will publish feedback information, it will tell you how many people bid for each property, as well as the band and registration date of the successful bidder.
